Our office is tucked away at No 139 on Angappa Naicken Street in the Parrys neighborhood. If you have ever been to Parrys, you know it is one of the most crowded and hectic parts of the city. The street is always filled with people, carts, and trucks moving goods back and forth throughout the day. We have been in this spot for quite a while now and we are very much used to the noise and the constant movement outside our door. The building is an older one, so the walls are thick and the rooms are a bit narrow and dark. We do not have any big signs or flashy lights out front to grab attention. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks with computers and a lot of paper stacked up in piles. Shipping involves a lot of documents and we spend most of our time making sure everything is filled out correctly. It can get pretty dusty because of all the traffic outside, so we are always wiping down the tables and the monitors. We are just a small group of people working here to get the job done. For lunch, we usually just grab something from the local vendors nearby or bring a tiffin from home. The work is steady and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We do not have a mission statement; we just show up and do what needs to be done for the day.
