Indian Institute Of Technology,Madras

We've been at this spot on Anna Street for a good while now. It’s part of the bigger Indian Institute Of Technology, Madras system, but we handle things from here in Sivathipatti. Most people know the main campus, but we're tucked away in Chennai at 4/52. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation here. We have a lot of paperwork and people coming through. The building isn't anything fancy, just where we do the work. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in Tamil Nadu. We try to keep things moving. Sometimes it’s quiet, sometimes it’s a bit of a rush with everyone trying to get things sorted out. It’s a lot of practical stuff. People live around here and walk by every day. We’re just part of the neighborhood really. The gate is a bit squeaky, and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it doesn't bother us much. We've got a small canteen nearby that makes good tea, which helps on the long afternoons. It's not the main high-tech campus everyone thinks of, but more of a quiet outpost for specific admin tasks. We get a lot of mail for the institute here. Sometimes the courier gets lost because of the narrow lanes in Sivathipatti, but they eventually find 4/52. We don't have a big reception area or anything, just desks and folks doing their jobs.
