Indian Diabetes Care & Research Center

Indian Diabetes Care & Research Center is at No 6 on Redhills Road. We are quite close to the Anna Statue Bus Stop in Kolathur. It’s a busy part of town, so there are always people moving around outside. We’ve been focusing on diabetes care here for a while. The building is a bit older, and we share the street with several other small businesses. Inside, we have a small lab area and a couple of rooms for consultations. We try to keep the files in order, but the shelves are getting pretty full these days. It’s a practical setup. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy furniture. We just have our desks and the medical equipment we need. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long on clinic days. We tell people to grab a tea nearby and come back. Most of our patients are from around Kolathur. They know the landmark of the Anna Statue well. We do some research work too, though most of our time is spent seeing people. It’s a routine we’ve had for years. The windows let in a bit of dust from the road, so we’re always cleaning. We just do our work and go home. It’s a simple life running a center like this. The staff usually brings their own lunch and we eat together in the small back room when things finally quiet down.
