Our facility is located on Tiruvallur High Road in Puduchatram. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city area, but it's a good spot for us. We are quite close to the Arunachaleshwar Shiva Temple, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find India Japan Lighting Pvt. Ltd. for the first time. The road gets very busy during the day with big trucks and commuters, so there is always a layer of dust on the windows. Inside, it’s a different story. We try to keep things as clean as we can since we are working with lighting components and parts. It’s a lot of manual work, with people sitting at benches or moving crates around the floor. We aren't a huge corporate office with glass walls; it’s more of a practical workspace where things actually get built. The weather out here in Puduchatram can be really humid, so the breaks under the trees outside are the best part of the afternoon. We have a mix of local people working here and some who travel from quite far. It’s a regular routine of checking the stock and getting orders boxed up for the morning delivery. We don’t do a lot of talking about ourselves; we just focus on making sure the lights are ready to go. It’s a decent place to work, and we’ve been here long enough that everyone in the neighborhood knows who we are.
