India Brush Industries

India Brush Industries has been operating out of 93 Thambu Chetty Street for a long time. This area is known for its old buildings and busy trade, and we are right in the middle of it. We make all kinds of brushes here. If you walk into our place, you'll see materials for bristles and handles piled up in different sections. It smells a bit like wood and raw materials inside. We aren't a big modern factory with robots; it’s more of a traditional setup where a lot of the work is done by hand or with older machines. The street outside is always crowded with people and carts, which makes loading and unloading a bit of a challenge sometimes. We don't have a big marketing department or a fancy website. People find us because we have been on Thambu Chetty Street for years and they know the quality of the brushes we put out. We supply to other shops and sometimes directly to people who need specific types of industrial or household brushes. It’s a bit of a messy business with all the fibers and dust, but it’s what we do. We just focus on making sure every brush that leaves the shop is sturdy enough to do the job. The days are full of the sound of machines and the chatter of the workers. It is a loud environment but we are used to the pace of this street.
