Our place is over at 137-D in the Awho Flats on Arcot Road. It’s in Saligramam, right near the Big Bazaar. That Big Bazaar is always crowded, so there is always something happening outside. We are in the 67 Arcot Road complex. Even though the name sounds a bit official, Ikraft Interior Projects is just a bunch of us working on interior stuff. The office is inside the residential flats area, so it’s got a bit of a homey feel to it. We have some computers set up and a lot of drawings of kitchens and living rooms lying around. Since we are in Saligramam, we get a lot of people from the film industry area coming by or just locals from the flats. We spend our day coordinating with workers and checking on supplies. It can get a bit loud when the traffic picks up on Arcot Road, but inside the flats, it’s usually okay. We don’t have a fancy storefront. You just come into the complex and find us. We usually have some samples of laminates and tiles spread out on the table. It’s a working office, not a gallery. We’ve been in this spot for some time and we like being near the market. It makes it easy to grab things we need for the office. We just do the work, handle the projects, and try to stay organized as best as we can in the middle of it.
