This is our little spot in Chrompet. We are located in the Alsa Green Park complex, specifically in the third block, unit B3. It's right in Nehru Nagar, which is a busy area of Chennai but our block stays relatively quiet most of the time. The address says Qatar at the end sometimes on our paperwork, which is a bit of a weird clerical thing from when we set things up, but we are definitely here in Tamil Nadu. We've been operating out of this apartment-style office for some time now. It’s not a big corporate skyscraper, just a simple place where we manage our day-to-day activities. Most mornings start with unlocking the gate and getting the fans going because it gets warm here. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know how everything works. We deal with whatever comes across the desk that day. It's a bit of a walk from the main station but it's manageable. We've gotten to know the neighbors in the other blocks. Everyone mostly keeps to themselves. Sometimes the power cuts happen, but we just wait them out or find something else to do. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby. It’s just us working in a space that fits what we need. It's practical and it gets the job done without any fuss. We usually head out around six once the sun starts to go down and the traffic picks up.
