IBC Tamil is located at 302 FM House on Anna Salai in Teynampet. Being on Anna Salai means we are right on the main artery of Chennai. The traffic is constant, and you can always hear the roar of the city outside our windows. We are up on the third floor, which gives us a bit of a view of the street below. The office is usually quite busy with people coming in and out all day long. We have several rows of desks with computers and some television screens mounted on the walls. It feels like an active place to be. The staff members are quite young, which keeps the mood lively even when we are tired. We drink a lot of coffee here to keep going through the shifts. FM House is a well-known building, so most people don't have trouble finding us. The air conditioning is essential because the building can get quite warm in the afternoon sun. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. We just have our daily work to do, and we get on with it. Sometimes we stay quite late when there is a lot to finish. The neighborhood has plenty of small shops and eateries, so we never run out of options for a quick meal. It's a fast-paced spot in a central part of Chennai, and we've grown used to the pace of life here. We usually catch the bus or metro right outside the front door when we head home.
