We are located at number 3 on Anna Street in Sholinganallur. This is where I4 Communication Pvt. Ltd. operates from. It’s a busy area, especially with all the IT traffic around here. We mostly focus on communication setups for smaller offices and family homes. It’s a lot of phones and internet lines, really. We started small and just kept going as the neighborhood grew over the years. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and a lot of equipment boxes piled up in the corners. We spend most of our time coordinating with the field team who are out on the streets doing the actual work. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when we have to work on outdoor lines during the rainy season. We try to get to people as fast as we can when they have a problem with their connection. It’s not a fancy life, but we like the work and the people we meet. Sholinganallur has changed a lot since we moved in, but we’re still here on Anna Street working. Most of our customers are people who live or work within a few miles of us. We don't do big TV ads or anything fancy like that. We just answer the phone and try to fix whatever is broken. Sometimes it’s a simple fix that takes five minutes, other times we have to spend all day on one site. That’s just the nature of communication work. We're a small group, so you usually end up talking to the same person.
