Hse Department

We are located in Flat B of the Gayathri Apartments, which is in Block II of the complex. The address is No. 16 on Chinna Swamy St in Agaram. Chennai is a big place, but this little corner of it is where we spend our days. It’s a typical apartment setup, so it doesn’t feel like a cold office at all. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood through the windows, like the traffic on the main road and people going about their business. The stairs up to the flat are a bit narrow, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve got our desks pushed up against the walls to make more room for the filing cabinets. It’s not a huge space, but it serves its purpose for the Hse Department. We manage our tasks from here in Tamil Nadu, and the 600082 pincode is what you’d use for mail. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back on, maybe grab a tea from the shop downstairs. It’s a very local way of working. No one here wears suits or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable for the Chennai humidity. It is just a regular group of people working out of an apartment building in Agaram. We keep things pretty low-key and just focus on getting through the stack of papers on the table. It is just how our daily life goes.
