You can find Hrd Consultants at No.1, First Lane, on First Street in Professors Colony. It’s in East Tambaram, Chennai. The colony is a relatively quiet spot, mostly filled with people who have lived there for decades. Our office is right at the corner, and it’s a simple building that has been here for a long time. We handle various human resource tasks for different clients, which means there’s a lot of variety in what we do every day. One day we might be looking at resumes for a factory, and the next we’re helping a small shop with their staff problems. The office inside is a bit cluttered with papers and old ledgers, but we know where everything is. It’s not the kind of place with a receptionist or a big waiting room. Usually, people just knock on the door and come right in. The ceiling fans are old and make a bit of a clicking sound, but they keep the air moving on those hot Chennai afternoons. We usually have our lunch together, often bringing food from home or getting something from the stalls near the Tambaram station.
