You can find us at No 153 on Eldams Road in Teynampet. We are right opposite the Lifestyle Super Market, so it's quite easy to find. If you’re coming from the Alwarpet Junction, it’s just a short way down the street. We sell all kinds of furniture for homes, just like the name says. We have sofas, beds, wardrobes, and dining tables mostly. The shop has been here for a long time. Teynampet is a busy area but Eldams Road has its own specific vibe. We have two floors of furniture to look at. It’s not a super modern store with bright neon lights and fancy background music. It feels more like a practical warehouse where you can actually touch the wood and sit on the chairs to see if they’re comfortable enough for your living room. We get a lot of local families coming in, especially on the weekends. Sometimes they bring their kids and everyone is trying out the different sofas. We don't mind at all. Buying furniture is a big decision for any family, so we let people take their time looking around. My father started this business and now we just keep it going every day. We handle the deliveries ourselves usually, using a small truck we keep out back. It’s better that way so we can make sure nothing gets scratched or broken on the way. The traffic on Eldams Road can be quite bad in the evenings, so we usually do our deliveries in the early morning. We don't do much advertising, just the sign.
