Hitachi Koki India Ltd

Hitachi Koki India Ltd is based over at New No. 14, right on the second floor. We are on Eldams Road in Alwarpet. If you know Chennai, you know how hectic Alwarpet can be at almost any hour. The traffic on Eldams Road is something we deal with every single day. Being on the second floor means we are slightly removed from the street noise, but you can still hear the horns honking down below. The office is a straightforward place. We’ve got some rows of desks, a few filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a small area for making coffee. It is not a flashy corporate headquarters, just a regular office where we handle the Indian side of the business. Most of our day is spent looking at spreadsheets or coordinating with the warehouse guys. We don't have a lot of visitors, so it is usually just us. The walk up the stairs can be tiring when it's hot outside, but the air conditioning inside usually works well enough. We have a few plants near the windows that we try to keep alive, though we sometimes forget to water them. There is a local lunch spot nearby that makes a decent meal, so that is where you will find most of us around one o'clock. It is just a normal workplace with normal people doing their jobs. We keep our heads down and try to stay organized amid all the paperwork.
