Our office is right here on Lakshmi Street in Madipakkam. It’s No. 31, a spot that’s easy enough to find if you know the Balaiah Garden area. We’ve been operating Hirco Properties Pvt Ltd from this corner of Chennai for some time now. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a few chairs for visitors, and stacks of papers related to local plots and houses. The fan hums all day while we look over land surveys and talk to people who want to buy or sell around here. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in Tamil Nadu. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a practical space where the work gets done. Most days, you’ll find us chatting with neighbors or helping someone understand a property document. Madipakkam is a busy place, and there’s always something happening on the street outside. We keep some folders organized by area, though sometimes things get a bit piled up when we’re busy. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep up with the local real estate changes. It’s a regular neighborhood business, nothing too complicated. If someone needs to check a boundary or see a site, we just grab the keys and head out. That’s pretty much how we spend our time here at Lakshmi Street. We are just local people helping other local people with their homes and land.
