Our office is on the second floor of the Post Office Building, right at No 326 on Evr Periyar Salai in Aminjikarai. Himalaya Lift Sales And Services has been operating from this spot for a while now. It’s a busy area, especially with the post office right downstairs, so there's always people coming and going. We spend a lot of our time out on calls, fixing things or looking at new jobs, so the office is mostly where we keep our tools and do the billing. It’s not a fancy place, just a couple of rooms where we get the paperwork sorted and have a quick tea before heading back out. Aminjikarai is a good central spot for us to reach our customers across the city. We don't have a lot of polished brochures or a big sales team. Usually, it's just one of us answering the phone and heading out to the next job. Dealing with lifts means there's always something to do, and things can get pretty greasy and tired by the end of the shift. We like the work though. It keeps us on our toes. The building itself is older, but it works for what we need. You have to climb a few stairs to get to the second floor, but that's fine for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby or soft chairs. We just want to make sure the jobs get finished properly.
