Himalaya International

Our office for Himalaya International is over in Vepery at 24, E.V.K. Sampath Road. We are up on the 2nd floor, which means quite a bit of walking up and down those stairs every day. The road outside is always a mess of traffic and people, especially during the lunch hour when everyone is out. It gets quite noisy, but we are used to the sound of horns and shouting by now. Inside the office, things are pretty basic. We have some desks, a few old filing cabinets, and a lot of papers scattered around. The ceiling fans hum constantly to keep the heat away. It is not a polished corporate space by any means. We just do our work and try to stay organized as best we can. There is a small window that gives us a view of the street below. Sometimes we just watch the world go by for a minute when we need a short break from the paperwork. We know the people in the building and the tea stall guy nearby. It is a very normal, local setup for us. We don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff. We just handle the business day by day. Himalaya International is just a group of us working in this Vepery office. We try to be practical and get through the pile of work on our desks before the sun goes down.
