We spend most of our days out here in Sriperumbudur at the Sipcot zone. It gets pretty hot inside the shed during the summer months but the work with insulation materials doesn't really stop for the weather. Most of us have been here a while now. We handle a lot of different types of lining and insulation stuff for companies around Kancheepuram. The yard stays pretty busy with trucks coming in and out. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk in the small office area but we eventually get through it. It’s not a fancy place by any means. There’s a lot of dust from the materials and we usually have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down a bit. We just try to keep the machines running and make sure the orders go out when they are supposed to. Some days are easier than others. If a machine breaks down it throws the whole week off. That’s just how it goes here. We aren't trying to do anything world-changing, just focusing on getting these industrial insulation products ready for the next shipment. It’s honest work and keeps everyone occupied. The address at M-16 is where you’ll find most of the guys working on the floor while a few others manage the phones and the billing. It’s a standard industrial setup. We know the neighbors and they know us. Most people just call us when they need something specific for a factory build.
