If you know that area, you know how busy it gets every day. The ground floor is always humming with people buying things, and we are just one flight of stairs up from all that noise. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, so you really have to watch your step. Being in Rattan Bazaar means there is never a quiet moment. We can hear the traffic and the vendors shouting outside all day long. The office has big windows, but we usually keep them shut to block out some of the dust from the street. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of paperwork piled up. We have been in this spot for a while now. It’s a practical location for our needs. Everything we need is right within walking distance. Sometimes it feels like there isn't quite enough space for all the samples and files we have, but we manage to stay organized enough. The lighting in the hallway is a bit dim, but the office itself is bright enough once you get inside. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights. Just a simple nameplate on the door so people know they have reached the right place. Working in such a crowded market area keeps us on our toes.
