Hertj Communications

If you know the area around Vivekananda College in Mylapore, you’ve probably walked right past us without realizing it. Hertj Communications is located on the second floor of building number 82, right on P S Sivaswamy Salai. It’s a busy street, especially when the college students are out and about. We have been in this spot for a long time, dealing with all sorts of communication hardware. Our office is up a narrow set of stairs, and once you get inside, it’s mostly just desks covered in cables and testing equipment. We handle things like intercoms, phone lines, and some networking stuff. It’s the kind of work where you’re often crawling under desks or climbing ladders to reach a junction box. We aren't a big corporation with a marketing department; we're just a few people who understand how these systems click together. Sometimes the older buildings in Mylapore make the wiring tricky, but we’ve seen enough of them to know the shortcuts. Our days are pretty routine. We get a call about a line being down or a system acting glitchy, and we head out to see what’s wrong. We don’t promise miracles, just that we will put in the time to find the fault and fix it. It gets hot in the afternoons here, but we keep the fans going and keep working through the list. It's simple work that needs doing. Every day is different but the goal is the same.
