Our office is over in Periyar Nagar, Chennai, specifically at No. 20/10 in the D Block on 16th Street. It’s a fairly quiet residential-turning-commercial area compared to the city center. We spend our days tucked away in the office looking at screens and tracking containers across the world. It’s a lot of data entry and back-office support stuff that people don't really see. The building is a bit older, but it serves us well enough. We have a routine here—arrive in the morning, check the overnight updates, and start processing the backlog. There are a lot of us working together, so it gets a bit noisy with all the typing and chatter. The air conditioning is always on because Chennai is just too hot otherwise. We don't have fancy decorations, just our computers and some basic furniture. Lunchtime usually involves everyone sharing food or heading out to the small eateries nearby. It’s a very regular job. We handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes work that makes sure global trade doesn't stop. Sometimes the systems go down and we all have to wait around, but usually, it's just steady work. We’ve been in this D Block spot for a while now and the locals are used to seeing us coming and going. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people doing their bit for the company. We don't do anything flashy, just the day-to-day tasks that keep things moving along.
