Working at Gunnebo India, our office is right in the Guna Complex on Anna Salai in Teynampet. If you know Chennai, you know how hectic Anna Salai can get at any time of the day. Our building is the main one, and we are up on the 4th floor at Pandikumar S/443. It’s a big complex with lots of different businesses, but once you get up to our floor, it feels a bit more organized. We spend a lot of our time dealing with security products and systems. There’s a lot of paperwork and technical stuff to keep track of every day. Even though we are part of a larger name, our daily life here is just like any other office in the city. We have our tea breaks, we talk about the heat, and we try to stay on top of the orders coming in. The view from the 4th floor isn't much, just more buildings and the tops of cars moving slowly on the road below. We have a good group of people working here, and we’ve been in this Teynampet location for quite some time now. People come by for meetings or to check out the hardware we have on site. It’s a busy environment, but we’ve gotten used to the pace of it. We just focus on getting the jobs finished and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a practical, everyday kind of place to work.
