Gulf Consolidated Contracots

Our place is Gulf Consolidated Contracots and you can find us in Avadi, Chennai. We are specifically on Malligai Street in Poompozhil Nagar, at Plot No. 174. Avadi is a bit away from the main city center, but it’s a good spot for a contracting business like ours. We’ve got our office right there on the street. It’s a lot of dealing with local labor and making sure we have enough materials for the various jobs we have going on. The name has a little bit of a typo in it from the old registration, but we just stuck with it because everyone knows us now. Chennai weather is always something you have to plan around, especially with the rain and the humidity. We do a lot of site visits from here. The office is where we keep all the records and where people come to talk about new projects. It’s a regular neighborhood, so it doesn’t feel like a big corporate environment. We just do our work and try to stay organized. Most of the guys have been with us for a long time. We don't do much in the way of advertising, we just get our work through word of mouth mostly. It is a lot of staying on top of things and making sure the projects don’t stall. There’s always someone at the office if you need to drop something off.
