Jai Garment

Jai Garment is located right on Narasingapuram 1st Street in Guindy. It’s not a very long street, but it stays busy because of all the small workshops around here. Our place at No. 1/ 2 is usually humming with the sound of sewing machines from morning till evening. It’s just a standard setup where we get the work done. The staff is mostly from the local neighborhood, and we’ve all been working together for a long time now. We don't have a big fancy office or a reception area. You just walk in and you'll see everyone busy at their stations. Sometimes we have piles of fabric sitting near the entrance waiting to be cut. It can get a bit dusty with all the thread and lint flying around, but we try to sweep up twice a day. Guindy is a good spot for us because the transport is easy, although parking on our street is a total headache most days. If you're coming by, it’s better to take a rickshaw. We do all sorts of stitching and garment work depending on what the current order is. It’s honest work and we keep ourselves busy. Sometimes we stay late when a big delivery is due the next day. We usually keep some biscuits and tea around for the breaks. It’s just a normal workplace with people trying to make a living. Nothing more to it than that.
