Gs Power Solutions is located right on the Tnhp Main Road in Velacheri. We are at number 984, which is directly opposite the Sbi bank. It’s a very busy road, so there’s always a lot of noise from the buses and bikes going past. Being across from the bank makes it easy for people to find us, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. The shop is filled with batteries, inverters, and various power equipment. It’s a heavy environment, literally. We move things around a lot, so the floor has some scuff marks on it. We’ve been operating out of Velacheri for years. The space isn't very big, but we make use of every corner for storage. Usually, the back area is where the repairs happen. It’s a bit messy with tools and wires, but that’s just how it goes with this kind of work. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that stay on all day. During the monsoon, the rain can get quite loud on the roof. We see a lot of people coming in who are tired of the power cuts in the area. We just talk to them like regular neighbors. It’s a straightforward shop. We open up early and usually stay until the street lights come on. There is usually a bit of a crowd near the bank across the way in the mornings. Sometimes we share some snacks if someone brings them in.
