Choolaimedu is one of those places where it’s always crowded. We are at No.4/1, Anna Nedumpathai. Greenrealm Impex Private Limited is a small office in a very busy part of Chennai. You have to be careful driving through the lanes here because of the bikes and people walking. Our office is just a regular room where we handle our impex business. We have been here for some time and the locals know us. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails. We don’t have any big displays. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and charts. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside a bit messy, but we still make it in. We don't do much in terms of advertising. We just handle the shipments and the sourcing as they come. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We start early to avoid the worst of the heat and the noise. Anna Nedumpathai has a lot of small shops, so we can always get what we need close by. The staff here is small, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We just try to stay organized and keep the clients happy without making a big fuss about it. It’s a regular job in a regular neighborhood, and that suits us just fine. We don't need much more than a desk and a working phone.
