Green Roof India

Our office is down in Tondiarpet at Kanniappan Colony. We are at number 27/19. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads nearby. We started this because we wanted to work with plants and roofing. It’s a small setup. We have some supplies kept in the back and a couple of desks in the front room. The walls have some water stains from the last big rain, but it doesn't bother us much. We spend a lot of our time out at job sites rather than sitting here. When we are in, we're usually talking to customers on the phone or sketching out some ideas on scrap paper. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just a handful of us trying to make things a bit greener around here. We don't use any fancy software for our books, just simple ledgers and a basic computer. The neighbors are nice, and we often share a coffee with the guy from the shop next door. It's a bit dusty because of the construction nearby. We just keep the door shut and carry on. We like what we do, even if it’s hard work sometimes. There is no corporate ladder here, just us trying to finish the day's tasks and prepare for tomorrow. It feels good to see a project finished and move on to the next one.
