Graphic Design

You can find us over in Triplicane on Tassudin Street. The address is New No 17b. It’s a small place, very much a part of the local neighborhood. We do design work, mostly for people and businesses around here. There are a few computers, some scanners, and a lot of paper samples lying around. It’s not a big corporate studio with glass walls. It’s more of a walk-in kind of shop. People come in with an idea for a card or a flyer, and we sit down and try to make it look decent on the screen. The street outside is always narrow and busy with bikes and people. Sometimes it gets a bit loud, but we are used to it. We drink a lot of coffee while working on layouts. Some days are slow, and other days everyone wants their printing done at the same time. We don't use big fancy words for what we do. We just arrange text and images until they look right. The printers hum in the background while we work. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors know us. It’s a bit cramped with all the paper stock, but it works for us. We just try to get the colors to match and the lines to stay straight. It’s practical work for practical people. Most of the time we are just squinting at monitors and checking for typos before hitting print. It isn't a glamorous life, but we like the creative side of it.
