Granite (India) Pvt. Ltd.

We've been at 17, K. B. Dasan Road in Alwarpet for quite a while now. If you know the area, it’s a pretty busy spot but we like it here. People often just drop by when they are passing through Alwarpet to talk about granite or whatever project they have going on at home. Being Granite (India) Pvt. Ltd., we spend most of our time dealing with stone slabs and getting things ready for customers. It gets a bit dusty sometimes, and the phones don't stop ringing, but that is just how it goes in this trade. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical place where we get the work done. We have a small team here. Some of us have been working with granite for years, so we’ve seen all kinds of patterns and colors come and go. Dealing with heavy stone isn't always easy, but we have our routines down. We usually start early in the morning before the traffic on K. B. Dasan Road gets too backed up. It’s a good neighborhood to be in, and we know most of the other shop owners around here. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks find us because they live nearby or someone told them to come check out our stock. We just try to keep things simple and make sure the orders are right before they head out the door. It’s a straightforward business, really.
