Our office is tucked away at 33, 4th Street, in D Block of Anna Nagar East. It is a bit of a mouthful to say Grandalliance Management Excellence & Consulting Llp every time the phone rings, so we usually just keep it short among ourselves. We have been working from this part of Chennai for a bit now and it suits the way we do things. The street is usually quiet enough that we can actually hear ourselves think, which is good for consulting work. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or anything. There are just some desks, some chairs, and plenty of coffee to keep everyone going through the afternoon. People think management consulting has to be all suits and glass buildings, but we are just regular folks in a regular neighborhood. We try to keep things straightforward. If someone comes by, they’ll see we are just busy with files and spreadsheets most of the time. Anna Nagar is a good area to be in, and being in D Block makes it easy for us to get around when we need to. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we handle every day. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big shiny office. We just want to do the work right and go home. That is pretty much the story of how we run things here at 4th Street.
