Gowhari Export

Gowhari Export is located at No. 81-A Karunigar Street. We are right across from the Lucky Mandapam in Adambakkam. It’s a well-known landmark, so people don’t usually get lost finding us. The building is an older one. We’ve got a space on the ground floor. It’s mostly filled with boxes and samples of things we export. Adambakkam is a crowded neighborhood. Karunigar Street can be quite tight when there are festivities at the mandapam. We’ve been here for years. The office is pretty lived-in. There are stains on the desks from tea cups and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. But it functions well for us. We handle a variety of items. Most of our day is spent calling people and checking on shipping schedules. It’s a small crew here. We don’t have any formal dress code or big meetings. We just talk across the room to each other when something needs doing. We like the local feel of the area. There’s a small shop next door where we get our supplies. We don't try to look bigger than we are. We're just a local export business doing our thing. It’s steady work and we know the ropes. There is an old calendar on the wall from three years ago that nobody ever took down, but we just leave it there now.
