Gordon Woodroffe Logistics Limited

Our office is tucked away on Bakthavatchalam Street in West Mambalam. If you know Chennai, you know this area is usually pretty crowded with houses and small shops. We are at number 20. Gordon Woodroffe Logistics Limited has been around for quite some time, and we handle a lot of the moving parts that come with logistics. It’s not always easy work, especially when the weather in Chennai gets really hot and humid, but we manage. The street can get a bit tight with parked scooters and people walking to the nearby market. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through schedules and talking to drivers or clients on the phone. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we can focus. Dealing with logistics means there is always something going on, whether it's a shipment stuck somewhere or a delivery that needs to happen by evening. We’ve got a small team here, and everyone pretty much knows what they need to do. We’ve stayed in West Mambalam because it’s a central spot for many of our staff. Sometimes the power goes out, or the internet acts up, but we just get on with it. It’s a regular office life for us, really. We spend most of our time making sure the paperwork is correct and the goods are moving as they should. That's about it for our little team.
