Gokulam Industries

Gokulam Industries is over on Gandhi Street in the Padi area of Chennai. Our shop is at Number 21, right in Mathiyazhagan Nagar. It is a very busy neighborhood, and the street stays crowded with people and scooters all day long. Our workshop goes back quite a way from the front door, though you might not realize it from the street. It gets pretty humid and warm inside once the machines have been running for a few hours. We do not have much in the way of decoration on the walls, just some old calendars and a few tools hanging up. The area is a real mix of residential houses and small industrial shops like ours. Sometimes the traffic on Gandhi Street makes it difficult for our suppliers to drop off materials, but we have learned to be patient and just work around it. We are regular people who do not mind getting our hands dirty or wearing work clothes that have seen better days. We have been here for a long time and the work has become a natural part of our lives. We do not overcomplicate things with big plans or mission statements. If a job comes in, we do it as well as we can and move on. We do not have a glossy brochure to show anyone. We just have the work we did yesterday and the tasks waiting for us today.
