We are located at Chateau D Ampa on Nelson Manickam Road. If you are in Chennai, you know how busy this stretch can get. Our office is at No 37, and it’s a fairly simple place despite the grand-sounding name of the building. Gnsst Nidhi Limited is where we spend most of our daylight hours. We work as a Nidhi company, which basically means we help our members with their small savings and loans among themselves. It’s an old way of doing things, but it works for the people who come to see us. The office doesn't have those sleek, modern designs you see in magazines. We have desks that have been used for years and plenty of paper files. Computers are there too, of course, because you have to keep up with the times. We don't spend money on big ads or shiny brochures. Most of our members find us because they live nearby or their cousins told them about us. We talk to everyone in plain English or Tamil, whatever they prefer. It’s about being helpful without making things complicated. The traffic on Nelson Manickam Road is always humming in the background, but inside, we just focus on the numbers. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just trying to make sure our members have a reliable place to handle their financial bits and pieces. It’s honest work, and we like being right here in the middle of Chennai, even if the parking is a bit difficult.
