Gleitlager India Ltd. is located over at New No.21 on Bhagirathi Ammal Street in T.Nagar. If you know Chennai, you know how packed this area gets, especially with all the shopping and traffic nearby. We’ve been in this building for a good while, and it feels like home now. Our work is mostly technical, focusing on bearings and similar parts, but we try to keep things down to earth. The office isn't one of those high-rise glass boxes; it’s a bit older and has some character. We usually start the day early before the heat gets too bad, though in T.Nagar, the heat is just something you live with. There’s a lot of paper work and phone calls involved in what we do, and we spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and vendors. Sometimes the street gets so busy it’s hard to find a place to park, which can be a bit of a headache for visitors coming to see us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a steady one that does what it says it will. Most of our staff have been around for a long time, so we’re more like a small family than a big corporation. It’s just the way we like to do things here. It might be noisy outside with the city bustle, but inside we just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks without much fuss or any unnecessary complications.
