We have been working out of this office for a long time. It’s not a polished corporate suite. It’s more of a place where we keep our tools, our site maps, and our ledgers. The fans are usually humming because Chennai heat is no joke. We spend our days coordinating with contractors and making sure the supplies actually show up at the sites on time. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in traffic near Ramalingapuram, which is always a headache. We don't really have a sales pitch. We just build things and try to make sure the walls are straight. Most of our staff have been around the block a few times. The neighborhood has changed over the years but our building stays the same. We talk to our clients in plain English or Tamil depending on who walks through the door. The office is often full of the smell of coffee and paper. We keep things simple because that is the only way to get projects finished in this city. There are a lot of bigger builders in Chennai, but we like our small corner in Reddy Colony. It’s where we feel at home and where the real work happens every single day. We keep the paperwork in order as best we can.
