Garden Enterprises

Our shop is tucked away at No. 15/8 on M. V. Badran Street. It is a narrow street, so it is hard to bring a big vehicle in here. Garden Enterprises is mostly just a place for storage and moving goods around. We have boxes piled up to the ceiling in the back room. Sometimes I forget what is in which box, and I have to spend half an hour looking for something. It is just me and two other guys working here most of the time. We don't really have a front desk, just a small stool near the door where someone sits to greet people. The street outside is always full of kids playing or people walking to the market. It gets a bit noisy in the afternoons, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time checking lists and making sure the orders are ready to go out. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, so we have to move the boxes away from that one corner. It is a small business and we don't have any big corporate plans. We just want to finish the daily tasks and go home to our families. M. V. Badran Street is a good place for us because the rent is okay and the people are friendly enough. We just keep doing our thing and hope for the best tomorrow.
