G-Care Surgicals & Disposables is right here at number 1, Rukmaniammal Street in West K.K. Nagar. It is a quiet enough street, though finding a parking spot can sometimes be a bit of a challenge if you are driving a big delivery van. We mostly deal in medical disposables, so our main room is usually stacked high with boxes of gloves, face masks, and syringes. It is not a very pretty sight, just lots of cardboard and tape, but it is what we do. We supply a lot of the local clinics and nursing homes in this part of Chennai. It started out as a very small operation in a back room, and slowly we took over more of the space as we grew. We do not have a website with fancy photos or a big sales team roaming the city. People mostly hear about us from other doctors or clinic owners. The office is just a couple of desks shoved between the inventory stacks. On hot afternoons, we usually keep the door open to get a bit of a breeze, and you can hear the birds and the occasional scooter going by. We are just regular people trying to provide the basic supplies that hospitals need every day. It is not glamorous, but it is important work and we are happy to be doing it here in the neighborhood.
