You can find G. Abdul Rahman & Co. over at 50/53, Perianna Maistry Street. We are right in the heart of Periamet, which is a busy area where people have been doing business for generations. Our place is tucked away, and it’s usually humming with activity from early morning. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or modern furniture. The desks are older, and we have shelves full of files that have been there for years. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if not everyone is related. We know the people on our street and we stop to talk when we’re out getting tea. The work we do involves a lot of back-and-forth communication. Dealing with logistics and trade means you have to be patient when things get delayed. We don't get stressed out by it anymore; it’s just part of the job. Some days are slower than others, and we might just sit and talk about the neighborhood or how the trade is changing. Other days, we are running around trying to meet a deadline. It’s an honest way to make a living. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just stay at our spot on Perianna Maistry Street and make sure the work gets handled properly. It’s what we’ve always done and it seems to work out fine for us and the people we work with.
