Freelance Consultant

You can find me at F-1 in the Brown Nest Apartment, which is on 2nd Main Road in Gandhi Nagar, Adyar. Chennai is a big place, but Adyar has a specific feel to it that I’ve always liked. I work as a freelance consultant from this apartment. It’s not a formal office with a lobby or a secretary. It’s just my workspace where I keep all my books and files. The Brown Nest is a decent building, and being on the 2nd Main Road makes it easy for people to find me if they need to drop off documents. I spend a lot of my time right here, going through data and planning out projects for the people I work with. It gets humid in Chennai, so the fan is almost always on. I handle my own schedule and my own coffee breaks. Sometimes the neighbors are a bit noisy, but that’s just apartment living. I’ve been doing this for a while now and I’ve found that I don’t need a big corporate setup to be effective. I just focus on the tasks I have for the day. There’s no big team behind me, just my own effort and the experience I’ve gathered over the years. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way to work in this part of the city. I’m quite happy with how things are set up and how the days go by.
