Ramp Export

You can find Ramp Export over at R- J-6 in the Foreshore Estate area of Mandavelipakkam. It’s a decent location, especially with the sea breeze coming in sometimes. The building is part of a larger complex, so there are always people moving around. Our office is a bit small, but it fits what we need. We have some shelves for files and a corner for the packing materials. Most of our days are spent on the phone or responding to messages. We deal with various items that need to be sent abroad. It’s a lot of double-checking weights and measurements. My nephew helps out during his summer breaks, and the rest of the time it’s just a couple of us. We aren't one of those big corporations with floors of employees. It’s more of a personal setup here. We’ve had the same desk for nearly ten years. The drawers stick a bit, but we know how to wiggle them open. Mandavelipakkam is a good neighborhood, and we’ve made some good friends among the other business owners in the estate. We usually grab lunch from the small eatery around the corner. They make a good meal for a fair price. We don’t really do anything promotional. We just focus on the daily grind and making sure the shipments don’t get delayed. It’s a simple way to make a living, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
