For G4S In Jsw Steel Ltd

We are located down in Mavaravilai, near Kunnicode in the Kanyakumari district. Our work is tied to the G4S operations over at JSW Steel. It is a bit of a quiet area here in Kallenkuzhi, which is a nice change from the busy steel plant sites we sometimes have to visit. Most of our day is spent handling the security and logistics side of things for the steel company. We have to keep track of a lot of guards and their schedules, making sure everyone is where they are supposed to be. The office is pretty basic, just a place for us to keep our logs and uniforms. We aren't really a corporate office; we're more of a local hub for the guys working in the field. Kanyakumari can get very humid, so we spend a lot of time just trying to stay cool while we sort through the paperwork. There are no fancy decorations or marketing slogans on the walls. It’s just maps, duty rosters, and a few old chairs. We’ve been part of the landscape here for a while, and the locals know we're the ones to talk to about the security work at the plant. It isn't always exciting, but it’s important to keep things running smoothly. We just take it one shift at a time and make sure all the reports are filed correctly before we head home for the evening. It’s steady work.
