We set up Focal Point Consultancy Studio LLP over in Ashok Nagar. Specifically, we are at number 4, G3 on 79th Street, right near 18th Avenue. It’s a good spot in a busy part of town. Our office is on the ground floor which makes it easy for people to find us without wandering around too much. We’ve been here for a while and the neighborhood knows us. It’s a consultancy studio, so we spend a lot of time thinking and planning things out. The space is filled with tables and some old bookshelves. We aren't really big on the fancy office furniture. We just need a place to sit and concentrate on the files. Ashok Nagar can get pretty loud with all the traffic, but inside we keep it pretty quiet so we can focus. We handle a variety of tasks for the people who walk through our door. Sometimes it’s just giving advice and other times it’s doing the actual legwork. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, one of us just looks up from the computer when someone comes in. It’s a very casual environment. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. We just want to get the job done right so people can move on with their projects. It’s a honest day’s work for us and we like being part of this community. We keep things moving along every day.
