Parrys is always a bit of a mess with all the traffic and people moving around, but we have been here at Coral Merchant Street for a while now. It is No 95, just where the action is. Dealing with shipping and containers means there is always a lot of paper on the desks and phones ringing at odd hours. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working together for years and we know the area like the back of our hands. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast while we sort out the schedules for the ships. People come in asking about their cargo or just to drop off some documents. We don't have a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a regular place where we get the work done. Sometimes the internet acts up or the tea guy is late, but that is just how it goes here in this part of town. We handle a lot of the logistical side of things for people who need to move stuff across the sea. It is a lot of checking lists and making sure the numbers match up. Every day is pretty much the same but also different because you never know what kind of cargo is going to come through next. We just keep our heads down and stay busy.
