We are over in Purasaiwakkam on Dr Alagappa Road. It’s an old part of Chennai and the buildings have some history to them. Our place is New No 81 and 83, which used to be 31 and 32 back in the day. It gets a bit confusing for the mailman sometimes with the old and new numbers. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have some old desks and a few computers that have seen better days. It's a busy neighborhood with a lot of shops nearby, so there's always someone shouting outside or a bike horn honking. We handle international stuff from here, which mostly means lots of late-night emails because of the time differences. Sometimes we’re still here when the shops downstairs are closing up for the night. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of us who know how to get the tasks finished. We drink a lot of tea from the stall around the corner to keep us going. The floor is a bit uneven and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint but it works for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a glass building. We just want to make sure the business stays steady and the orders go through without too much trouble. It’s a simple setup for a hard-working group of people who just want to do their jobs well.
