We are located at No 10 B5 Vijay Nest Buildings in the Alandur area. This is a pretty busy part of town, so there is always something happening outside on the street. Our unit is on the B5 side, which feels a little different from the other sections of the building. We’ve got a lot of shelves stacked with files and old ledgers because we like to keep a hard copy of everything we export. The air conditioner is a bit old and makes a humming sound, but it keeps us cool enough when the sun is beating down on Alandur. We mostly just spend our hours coordinating with the shipping agents and trying to make sure the containers are ready. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. The staff here is just a few local people who know the ropes. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and see us working. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to keep things from being too silent. It’s a practical space for a practical job. We’ve stayed in Kuppusamy Colony because it’s easy for the staff to get to. Most days are just about managing the logistics and making sure nothing gets stuck at the port. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
