You can find us over on Old State Bank Colony Road in Tambaram. It’s a bit of a trek depending on where you’re coming from in Tamil Nadu, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. The building at number 24 is where all the coordination happens. Working in international logistics means our clocks are always a bit off because we’re talking to people in different time zones. It’s a lot of checking customs rules and making sure the weights and measures are right. We have a few desks pushed together and a lot of maps on the walls. It’s not the quietest office because there’s always someone explaining a delay or checking on a container. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We’re just regular people who know a lot about freight. The road outside can get dusty, and the local tea stall is where we usually take our breaks. It’s a straightforward operation. We deal with a lot of documents that have to be exactly right, so there’s a lot of double-checking going on. Sometimes the internet is slow or a shipment gets stuck at the port, and we just have to deal with it. We’ve been in Tambaram for a while, and the staff knows the local routes like the back of their hands. It’s just about getting the job done without making a big fuss over it. There is always someone here late, usually staring at a spreadsheet.
