Excel Dies And Tools

We are located at number 152 on Mount Road in the Saidapet area. It is a very busy part of the city, so there is almost always a lot of traffic and city noise right outside our front door. We have been making dies and tools here for quite a few years. It is a small space for a workshop, but we manage to fit all our equipment in if we are careful. The work we do requires a lot of focus and steady hands. You cannot really rush toolmaking or you will end up messing up the precision of the piece. We have a couple of older machines that still run much better than the new ones we tried a while back. Most of our day is spent looking through magnifying glasses or measuring things down to the last millimeter. It is quiet work compared to a big foundry, but it can still be pretty tough on the eyes. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who have the patience for this kind of detailed thing. Sometimes the humidity in Saidapet makes the metal sweat, so we have to be extra careful about rust on the tools. We have had customers coming to this same address for a very long time. They know we do not have a fancy waiting room, just a wooden bench and some old magazines. We just focus on the tools.
