You can find us at KGN Towers on Ethiraj Salai in Egmore. We are up on the 4th floor in the A Wing. Being in a big building like this is a bit different than a street-level shop. We spend a lot of time waiting for the elevator and talking to the security guards downstairs. The office is full of displays for bathroom fittings, which looks a bit strange when you see toilets and sinks in the middle of a workspace. We have a lot of meetings about logistics and inventory. Roca Bathroom Products has been in this Egmore location for a while now. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the busy street below. It gets pretty hectic around rush hour, so most of us stay a bit late to avoid the worst of the traffic. We don't have any fancy mission statements plastered on the walls. Mostly, we just have calendars and lists of what needs to be shipped out. There’s a small break area where the coffee is usually lukewarm, but we drink it anyway. We are just a team of people trying to keep the orders moving and the inventory straight. It’s regular office work mixed with the reality of moving heavy ceramic items around. Sometimes things get broken and we just have to clear it up and move on.
