Our office is up on the second floor of Crown Court. It’s on Cathedral Road, which is always packed with cars and people going somewhere. The building itself is older, and we’re at New Number 128, which used to be Old Number 34. It can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers who haven't been here before. We deal with the automotive side of things, but it’s mostly the paperwork and logistics rather than getting our hands dirty with engines. We have a few desks squeezed into the room and stacks of files that seem to grow every week. It’s a busy atmosphere. There’s always someone on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on a shipment of parts. We don’t have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and see us working. The windows look out over the road, so we watch the traffic jams while we have our lunch. It’s a good group of people here. We’ve all been in the auto trade for a while. We know how things work and who to call when there’s a delay. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. We just focus on keeping the orders moving and making sure everything is tracked properly in our system. It’s simple work but it keeps us on our toes every single day.
