Our office is sitting at Plot No. 54 on Pandian Street. It’s in Ram Nagar, which is part of Urappakkam. For those who don't live in Kanchipuram, it’s a bit of a drive, but we like the spot. We are the local team for Eta Group Company, Dubai. It’s a bit funny having Dubai in the name while we are looking out at a quiet street in Tamil Nadu, but it works for us. The building is a simple one-story place. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our files. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone in a suit waiting at the door. It’s more likely you’ll see one of us coming in with a bag of snacks or some folders. The weather gets pretty warm around here, so the fans are always going. We spend the morning catching up on what happened overnight in the other offices. It’s a lot of coordination and checking details. We don’t really have a big mission or anything like that. We just come in, do the job we’re supposed to do, and head home to our families. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a big shipment or a new project starting up. We’ve got a small kettle in the back for making coffee. It’s a quiet life here on Pandian Street, and we prefer it that way over the big city noise. We just keep our heads down and work.
